Finishing her sport report with Chelsea’s win in the Europa Cup final, she finished with an unconvincing, “How good are the cookies … there?”
Realising the stitch up straight away, Kelly could find herself a more regular fixture after handling the autocue stunt like a champ as Stefanovic and co-host Lisa Wilkinson pissed themselves laughing.
“See, I read everything on the autocue, it’s like Anchorman,” Kelly said with a smile.
“As it was coming out of my mouth I knew exactly what had happened.”
She soon took to Twitter to admit her embarrassment and plot her revenge.
