A ragdoll cat and 15-month-old African pygmy hedgehog, aka Lily and Lucy, were introduced to each other as Lily’s owners adopted the cute but not-so-cuddly creature as their new pet.
Curiously prodding at her new friend, Lily was ready to snuggle up to her, only to get a spiky surprise when she sat down, causing her to shoot off the sofa.
It seems Lily realised she’d met her match and all was forgiven as she ventured back up to her new buddy after her shock.
