A video of Brooker’s slot on last night’s 10 O’Clock Live programme, in which he name checked everyone from Katie Waissel to Polish cleaners, has since gone viral on YouTube.
Described as nothing short of genius, Brooker’s rant pokes fun at The Sun’s hypocritical claims this week that it was a victim of over-the-top police intrusion – a “witch hunt”.
Brooker, a Guardian columnist, wrote the poem himself, listing just about every single person, group, and idea that The Sun has pointed to in disgust.
His lyrical wisdom is really quite funny.
