Burgess copped a grade one contrary conduct charge from the NRL’s match review committee after they had a second look at an incident that resulted in Storm centre Will Chambers rolling around a bit with after a tackle. Replays show Burgess’s hand disappear between Chambers’ legs during the tackle in the 68th minute.

No action was taken on the field.

The grade of the charge means Burgess will miss two matches, even with an early guilty plea.
