Testifying at a the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure (CHD) in Washington D.C. last month, ex Canadian Defence Minister Paul Hellyer stated that not only does he believe that aliens are living among us, but there are at least two working with the U.S. government.

The Citizen Hearing on Disclosure was a series of non-governmental hearings chaired by six former U.S. congressmen reviewing five days of testimony from witnesses and UFO researchers.

The idea for the hearing was to inspire real congressional hearings on the subject that will prompt President Obama to confirm the presence of extraterrestrials.

According to CHD’s website, the goal of the event was to do  “what the U.S. Congress had failed to do for forty-five years — [sic] seek out the facts surrounding the most important issue of this or any other time — [sic] evidence pointing toward an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.”

Hellyer’s statement is not surprising. The man’s beliefs regarding extraterrestrials and UFOs are widely known. The former minister of National Defence made headlines about the subject for the first time in 2005 when he publicly announced that he believed in the existence of UFOs.

Since being posted online, Hellyer’s testimony from May has gone viral.

In the 9 minute-long video, Hellyer makes a number of statements about the subject. Among them are that “at least four” species of aliens have been visiting Earth for “thousands of years” and the different species may have “different agendas”.

Paul Hellyer served as minister of National Defence under the government of Lester B. Pearson and was responsible for the integration and unification of the Royal Canadian Navy, Canadian Army and the Royal Canadian Air Force into a single organization, the Canadian Forces.

What do you think? Do you believe Hellyer’s claims? Should we be on the look out for UFOs?
