Wait. That never happens does it? Sorry, we’re getting confused between what’s real and what we’d like to be real again.
That’s why a few eyebrows were raised when an emu wandered into a pub in Denham, Western Australia last week.
In a video clip caught on the pub’s CCTV, the boozy bird can we seen casually strolling through the open door to the bar, before making his way to the garden at the front of the pub.
However the indecent dromaius did leave the pub’s staff a parting gift on the carpet: a emu poo.
“I ran out of the office to see but it was too late” the pub’s manager Ben Jones told news.com.au.
“I thought, at least have the courtesy to ask where the toilets are!”
Asked whether the bird would be welcome back in the pub, Jones said: “As long as it has money for a drink!”
