All over the world Apple fans had been queuing in some cases for two days to get their hands on Apple’s latest shiny whirligig.

Some Apple devotees were upset to see the iPhone 4S’s virtual PA, Siri, was left out of this iteration, but they still came in their droves, as the company once again proved that despite the Jobs of its visionary leader, its still a force to be reckoned with.

Critical reception for the device has been unanimously positive with The Verge’s Joshua Topolsky calling it comfortably the best tablet computer on the market.
