The US man always wanted to jump out of a plane, so to mark his 100th birthday he asked his mates to hook it up.
And as you can see from this video taken last week, the old bloke had a blast!
Maynard is a retired car dealer originally from Nebraska but who lives in Palm Desert.
Skydive Perris manager Dan Brodsky-Chenfeld noted Maynard had to get a doctor’s note before doing the tandem jump with a trained instructor.
Maynard had an interesting choice of words for the The Press Enterprise: ‘I am just tickled to death and very appreciative that my friends helped put this together.’
What a deadset champ!
