During a performance of the sexy 1995 single Human Nature the 53 year old star, clad in a skimpy lacy bra, exposed her right breast to the crowd – who proceeded to go wild to the point of hysteria.
“Express yourself, don’t repress yourself” is the message of the song. However, with a largely Muslim population in Turkey the flashing incident may well have offended some audience members – or at least the ones who hadn’t realised they were going to a Madonna concert. Well, perhaps not.
The nipple slip was brief as the singer quickly regained her composure and hastily threw back on some clothing, perhaps regretting getting lost in the moment. Was it meant to be a clumsy a political statement about religious oppression?
