On board the ISS, Commander Chris Hadfield takes out a washcloth, which has been squished down to the size of a hockey puck to save space on board, and opens it out. He then sqeezes water in to it until it is soaking wet and then grabs it between two hands and twists….
The water squeezes out of the cloth and because of the surface tension, it sticks to Hadfields’s hands and forms a tube linking each hand with the other across the length of the washcloth.
