And it’s no different at Wimbledon. There must be nothing more frustrating than watching your favourite tennis player, an underdog, battle a world champion like Novak Djokovic.

That’s why one fan shouted out some helpful serving advice to world number 12 Viktor Troicki on Monday during the 90 minute match against his fellow Serbian, and greatest adversary.

“Go to his backhand, Vicktor!,” shouted an unidentified male from the crowd.

Troicki heard the tip, and then jokingly offered the caller his racquet to play.

But it turned out the guy knew what he was talking about.

Troicki made an impressive serve, which Djokovic failed to return, giving him an edge over his competitor.

Troicki then pointed to the crowd to acknowledge the advice.

Unfortunately it wasn’t enough to get Troicki over the line though. Djokovic won the match  6-3, 6-1, 6-3.

But if ever Troicki needs a new coach …
