Last week, police found a stash of explosive chemicals at a house in west Brisbane, reported to be the home of a man who was jailed for blowing up his ex-girlfriend’s lover’s car in Newcastle in 2006.
A map, which police believe pinpoints two possible targets in Sydney and Newcastle, was also found at the Red Cedar Rd property, the Daily Telegraph said.
More than 50 kilograms of explosive material was retrieved from the house including one known as DMDT, according to Channel Nine.
DMDT is said to have been used in the 2005 London bombings.
