The prostitute at the centre of the Wayne Rooney scandal – Jenny Thompson – has been arrested after police raided her house in Bolton and found a small quantity of cocaine. She is suspected of being involved in the production of cannabis.
‘Wayne Rooney prostitute’ Thompson and another girl, Helen Wood, made headline news last year over allegations that they were paid £1,200 to have sex with married England and Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.
Yesterday, police officers swooped on a house owned by Thompson’s parents shortly after 9am and seized what police described as “a small amount of cocaine and drugs paraphernalia”.
A police spokesman said: “A 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of cannabis and possession of cannabis.
“A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs.
“Both have been cautioned. The woman has been cautioned for possession of cannabis.”
Thompson’s parents apologised to Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen after their daughter’s sex sessions with the football player were made public last year. Coleen Rooney was pregnant with her son Kai at the time.
According to reports, Jenny Thompson is currently trying to launch her own escort agency.
