This adorable little fellow is two weeks old, and he was born at Paddy Murphy’s farm in County Kildare.

The geep came to be because one of the farmer’s goats had a fling with one of his Cheviot ewes.

Geep don’t normally survive pregnancy because of the genetic incompatibilities between both species.

Mr Murphy is quite taken with the new arrival, and plans to look after the geep for as long as possible.

When asked if he would consider breeding more, he said that it wouldn’t be a possibility.

“Not at all – this was a shock to the system!” he said.

So, if you’re after your very own geep, looks like you’ll have to start breeding your own sheep and goats!
