Brew
To celebrate Cupcake Week which starts on Monday 14 September, Brew, who bake all their cakes in-store will be selling a limited edition – and very autumnal – Custard and apple cupcake.These dainty and very delicious vanilla sponges are filled with creamy custard and apple and all topped off with pink white chocolate and a cherry. Brew’s pink cupcakes will also be available for the whole of October as a nod to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and will be sold at a price of £2 each – ALL of which will go to the charity. And if guests tweet in a picture of their cupcake, Brew will give an extra £1 to the charity!
Halva Bakery
Halva Bakery & Patisserie in Fulham is selling bespoke cupcakes, with a French twist for cupcake week. Baked fresh every day in store using the finest ingredients, Halva are offering three delicious flavours: take a bow Bubble gum and raspberry jam, Milk chocolate and Dark chocolate. Rather than using the traditional go-to butter cream for the topping, Halva have stuck to their roots by using a fluffier (and French-er) Ganache Montée cream.
Sweet Things
Award winning cafe and cake shop, Sweet Things, serves a range of scrumptious treats perfect to enjoy on Cupcake Week! Choose from a selection of mini or regular size cakes, in flavours such as Red velvet, Oreo, Salted caramel or Strawberry cheesecake. For special occasions, giant cupcakes (which can be personalised) are also available. What’s more Natalie Allen (the owner of Sweet Things) offers cupcake masterclasses, where she can share her tips on how to create the perfect cakes so you can re-create them at home.
