Disc one of White Lunar collects the largely vocal-free music written by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis for the soundtracks of The Assassination Of Jesse
James By The Coward Robert Ford, The Proposition and as-yet-unreleased The Road, much of it recorded with a surprisingly light touch.
The second disc, collating the duo’s music for a pair of documentaries with a few unreleased bits and pieces, is darker, more varied and by far the more interesting listen.
