The amazing prize is an all-expenses-paid trip for three friends to travel together between June and September 2016 on the organisation’s popular Work America programme, which includes pre-arranged jobs, comprehensive medical insurance and return flights.
Full-time university students can try their luck in this competition by entering their name, details and those of two friends at www.bunac.org/matesinthestates. Then, to complete their entry, they simply need to take a creative photo of the intrepid trio going crazy for America and post it on social media via Instagram or Twitter with #BUNAC #MatesintheStates.
Alternatively, students attending one of BUNAC’s upcoming university visits and exhibitions can enter on the spot, gain extra inspiration for creative photos with star-spangled banners and fun props, and pick up a range of free goodies.
The three lucky winners will be jetting off on BUNAC’s Work America programme, which allows up to four months living and working in the United States during the summer, with a variety of roles in tourism and hospitality up for grabs. BUNAC has strong relationships with a wide range of employers across the country, from New York to California and from New England to North Carolina. Jobs range from waiting at tables in exclusive country clubs and hotels to lifeguarding on glorious, sunny beaches, serving in beachside ice-cream parlours and candy stores, working in amusement parks and more.
The BUNAC competition runs from now until the end of November and is open to all full-time UK university students, including those in their final year.
