Tour seach engine Epic World Travel is looking for an ambassador to travel the world for a year.

Best of all, flights, accommodation, tours, visas, vaccinations, foreign exchange and social media gadgets will all be paid for.
 
The chosen person will be travelling to six different continents, including 31 countries, 57 cities and seven tours.  
 
To find the right person for the adventurous job, Epic Travel is running a social media campaign between April and August.  
 
Speaking to Michael Hastic, the manager director for Epic Travel, he explained what they are looking for in the succesful candidate.
 
“It needs to be an outgoing, dynamic person, who is keen to experience new cultures and is a frequent social media user. Someone who’s used to Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and similar sites. 
 
“The job will entail keeping the online community up-to-date with their adventoures around the world.”
 
Anyone over 18 without a criminal record, and who is an English speaker, can apply but you also need to ensure that you have a valid passport for all your travels. 
 
What do you need to do to apply?

You need to register and submit a YouTube vidoe clip no longer than one minute, which demonstrates either ‘Epic Win’ or ‘Epic Fail’, and then you need to get as many people as possible to vote for you.  
 
So why should people go on tours, instead of arranging their own travel I asked Michael?
 
“Well, it’s lovely to have a bit of structure when travelling and you’ll meet a lot of exciting new people.”

“It’s boring travelling on your own.”  
 
“Also, a lot of people think that tours are very rigid, and set, but many tours give you a lot of free time to explore on your own”.  
 
“We want to show people the world, and for people to not just travel to the usual places like Paris. There are so many places out there like Nepal, Kenya and India to be explored.”   
 
“Basically, inspire adventure travel and provide travel to affordable prices to the right market.”
 
And it looks like their recipe is working.
Although Epic Travel only started in September last year, thousands of people have already used their tour searching site.
