Her badly beaten naked body was found by a passer-by.

Brisbane Times reported that she was studying international business at Griffith University and was murdered a short distance from her apartment in Quay St.

She died of a blunt trauma to the head and was the victim of an attack that Detective Inspector Rod Kemp described as “particularly aggressive”.

“We believe the cause of death is a brain injury from blunt trauma. It’s a particularly aggressive attack,” he said.

The 21-year-old was last seen on CCTV wearing a long dark trousers, dark ankle boots, a knitted beige shirt and a white shoulder bag.

Those items are yet to be recovered and investigations are continuing.

She is believed to be the fourth international student to have been killed in Brisbane since November.
