New tour operator daytoursworld.com today gave their top tips for the world’s best day trips at the TNT Sun & Snow Travel Show.
Among the globe’s best day-long excursions were the secret Thai island of Koh Lipe and the Italian coast of Cinque Terre.
The company, which has just launched, specialises in helping travellers see the best of a holiday destination within just a day.

He added that it was the perfect escape for anyone looking beyond the regular hotspots of Koh Samui and Koh Pahngan.
Steve McPhilemy, also of daytoursworld.com, said he recommended the village of Vernazza in Cinque Terra for romance.
Other top day tours included Quebec City in Canada, Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, and the Cliffs of Moher near Dublin, Ireland.
