The website, called Failbook, was set up as a tribute to the funniest, most stupid and downright ridiculous entries on the social networking site.

One user asked her friends: “What’s a double figure IQ?” which was met with a sarcastic response: “I don’t think you need [to] worry about it.”

Another user boasts about getting revenge on his ex by forwarding a picture of her and her new boyfriend naked to her father.

One hapless guy gets taken down a peg when he changes his status to “in a relationship” and posts an image of an attractive brunette, only for his friend to expose the fact that she is a model.

A user asks if Clint Eastwood is gay, while another says “Anne Frank is the dumbest book ever. She mostly writes about stuff no one cares about.”

Also on the site is a posting by an angry school pupil, saying “I sware teachers give us homeworkk to make our lives miserable….” which gets the astute response: “They give us homework to teach us to spell.. It’s swear not sware.”

And one girl posted on her ex’s wall, thinking it was a message box, to tell him she’d probably given him herpes.

Realising her mistake she posts underneath: “STOP DO NOT READ THIS. THIS WAS A PRIVATE MESSAGE I TYPED IN THE WRONG BOX, HOW DO YOU DELETE THIS???”
