X Factor crowd-pleaser Amelia Lily is scared her diabetes could damage her singing career.
The 16-year-old was a knockout on Saturday's show, impressing judges with her version of Janis Joplin's Piece of My Heart.
Judge Tulisa said: “That was amazing. You blew up the stage.”
The teen sensation has revealed that she has had chronic Type 1 diabetes since she was three years old. She has to inject herself with insulin four times a day.
Amelia told the Mirror that she fears she could collapse on stage if her sugar levels drop too low.
She added: “I have to monitor my blood constantly. It is hard and singing is tiring.
“But I’ve got it, so I’ve just got to deal with it.”
