Hallowe’en falls on a Tuesday this year but there’s plenty of things to do before and after All Hallows’ Eve, so don’t let that stop you from celebrating all things ghostly and ghoulish!

Events

London Dungeon

If you haven’t already, why not visit one of London’s top attractions on All Hallows’ Eve…take a journey through 1000 years of London’s dark history from the infamous Jack the Ripper to Guy Fawkes. Rehoused on the South Bank, the London Dungeon is bigger and better than ever with full-on 360 degree sets, interactive shows, live actors (including the legend that is Brian Blessed as King Henry VIII no less) and 2 underground rides – the London Dungeon was made for Hallowe’en! Visit the Torturer – a mean son-of-a-bitch in his chamber and learn his evil tricks of the trade, walk the smog filled streets of Whitechapel and stumble across Jack’s latest victim and try the long-drop (no, it’s not a toilet) it involves an executioner and a noose…and new for this year take a ride on The Death Express – all followed by a swift stiffner in the Dungeon Tavern!

Thorpe Park Fright Nights

OK – this is a good one, throughout October, Surrey’s Thorpe Park has a load of events to scare the shit out of even the hardest souls.

The Walking Dead: Living Nightmare– put your wits to the test as you and your fellow survivors are at the mercy of evil Negan. Decide your collective fate in this awesome game or try The Walking Dead: Sanctum – just when you thought you’d found sanctuary – you realise things aren’t quite what they seem and you have to battle your way through the compound to safety avoiding the Walkers and the arse-holes trying to re-capture you.

Platform 15 involves a scary trek along a forgotten railway line to retrace the journey of the Sleepers – passengers of the ill-fated Sleeper Express, can you survive or does the line end for you at Platform 15….

Saw Alive Horror Maze – Billy’s Back and he’s coming for you in this live action horror maze!

The Big Top – sounds pretty safe right? WRONG – the Figaro Bros return with their own take on a carnival – ‘crazed’ and ‘debauchery’ are key words with this one.

Containment – escape rooms are big thing now – you and your mates are locked inside four ‘haunt rooms’ and you’ve got to get out – you’ve not tried an escape room like this before…

Party Nights

Zombies Ate My Dance Floor – Club de Fromage & Burn Down the Disco

Club de Fromage, London’s top spot for dressing up and getting down, comes in to its own on Sat 28th. This year Fromage will be celebrating the un-dead, those dark eyed, grave shufflers who wander the earth with no purpose, we’re talking zombies. Not just any zombies though, lovely, glittery, disco ball loving, dancing zombies. Before the club even starts you can get in the mood with the Club De Fromage Film Club and spook it up with a screening of the king of all 80s vampire movies The Lost Boys. The pre-bar will then open from 9pm and then in this two room extravaganza, Club de Fromage will be dropping pop scary enough to make you change your undies, such as Monster Mash, Thriller, Ghostbusters etc. While in room 2 Burn Down The Disco will be killing it with terrifyingly good indie and rock n roll such as: Zombie, Sympathy for the Devil and tunes by Travis (only joking, we don’t want to really scare anyone).
