The BST Festival kicks off on July 1 with a superb line-up led by Bristolians, Massive Attack. The band came back earlier this year with Ritual Spirit LP and will headline on Friday night. A brilliant support line-up comes from Patti Smith, TV on The Radio, Mercury award winners – Young Fathers and Ghost Poet.

The following day (July 2) Florence and the Machine headline the central London park, with Kendrick Lamar, Cat Power, Jamie XX and Blood Orange all featuring.

Meanwhile, on Sunday (3 July) Carole King will be in the capital to play the entirety of her album – Tapestry, with special guest – Don Henley.

In between the music festival taking place, you can also catch horticulture talks during the week as well as the Coca-Cola film nights. Each night you can see Hollywood hits such as the Breakfast Club, Groundhog Day, Big, Theory of Everything, Four Weddings and A Funeral, ET and Moulin Rouge are just some of the blockbuster hits on offer throughout the nights in the Royal park.

Friday 8 July sees Mumford and Sons play the main stage, with other bands such as Wolf Alice, Mystery Jets and American group Alabama Shakes all featuring on the bill.

Take That, now performing as a threesome, will be playing all their hits on Saturday 9 July. The pop line-up includes Olly Murs, Ella Eyre and Nathan Sykes.

The music festival comes to an end the following day (10 July) with the legend that is Stevie Wonder headlining a fantastic stella line-up with Pharrell Williams in attendance.
