Bastille, Bruno Mars and Rudimental have been named as the three new artists to join Arctic Monkeys and Katy Perry at next year’s Brit Awards.

The annual pop music ceremony, which will take place on Wednesday, February 19 at London’s O2 Arena, will be broadcast on ITV and is expected to attract huge ratings once again after drawing an audience of 7.1 million last year, and marking the Awards the biggest in a decade.

Actor and comedian James Corden is also set to return for hosting duties in 2014 but has revealed it will be his final time, stating, “I really love the Brits. I’m such a fan. I’ll miss not doing it after this one, but fully intend to enjoy every second of Brits 2014.”

There’ll be no shortage of star power either, with Bruno Mars, Bastille and Rudimental set to perform live on stage, following on from last year’s huge line-up which included Justin Timberlake and Sir Elton John (the latter which was given the first ever Brits Icon Award).

In 2012, Bruno Mars picked up the International Male Solo Artist Award and has since sold over 10 million albums worldwide, while Bastille’s record Bad Blood was the biggest-selling debut album of  2013. Rudimental, meanwhile, also picked up their share of awards this year, among them being Digital Spy’s 2013 Album Of The Year.

The 2014 Brit Award nominations will be announced on Thursday, January 9.
