Since 2004, Comedy Carnival at The Grand has presented some of comedy’s biggest names, including Russell Brand, Micky Flanagan and Michael McIntyre.

French comedians have made irregular appearances in London in recent years, and now Comedy Carnival plans to make French stand up comedy a regular feature in the capital.

This year, Comedy Carnival launched “Le Carnaval de la Comédie”, with the aim of bringing France’s biggest comedians to London, including the likes of Ary Abittan, Franck Dubosc and Claudia Tagbo.

Comedy Carnival’s first French show features a comedian described by Le Monde as “one of the rising stars of French comedy.” Arnaud Ducret has quickly become a presence on French TV, with recurring appearances on the popular Vendredi tout est permis on TF1 and a starring role in the series Parents, mode d’emploi on France 2.
