Dame Edna Everage, cultural attache Sir Les Patterson and all of legendary Aussie entertainer Barry Humphries’ classic comedy character creations are set to take their final farewell bow in the grand surrounds of the London Palladium in Eat, Pray, Laugh.

Humphries has been delighting audiences for more than 50 years on TV and stage, and has already performed this farewell tour back in Australia and New Zealand, to such rapturous reception and critical adulation that he was forced to add more and more shows to the tour. The show now comes to the UK with a run in London before Humphries heads out across the country to say goodbye to his legions of loving UK-based fans.

You can expect this show to be a grand, glittering showbiz bonanza full of epic sets, dancers and, of course, the word ‘possum’ to be used liberally! Edna herself promises to “empower” her audiences with “a meditation on loss, gender, climate change, gay marriage and ethnicity,” amongst other things. It’s going to be a show not to miss!
