Started four years ago when Kiwi comic Jarrred Christmas and three of his buddies took to the stage of the George IV pub in west London, this monthly institution of gags and laffs has had a little holiday for a while but the lads are back, and this November show is not to be missed, whether you’re a Kiwi, a comic, or neither! Haha!

The Four Kiwis… night has included such stars of the stage as Rhys Darby, Flight of the Conchords and Boy With Tape On His Face. But as Christmas acknowledges, “there are not that many Kiwi comedians in the world,” and so said line-ups have also included the best international comedians who – or might have plans to perhaps – perform in NZ, such as Micky Flanagan, Russell Howard and Jack Whitehall.

This month’s line-up includes headliner Markus Birdman who is, amongst many things, the son of a preacher as well as a quick-witted wordsmith funnyman type person.

Support on the evening comes from TJ McDonald, Jerome Chandrahasen and Jaimie Adams and the whole night is hosted, as ever, by the irascible Christmas. Everyone’s invited, comedians, antipodeans, those who fit in neither of the above groups. Basically, as Mr Christmas puts it: “Anyone who is not a dick!” So if you’re not a bellend, get down and laugh your ass off.

Also, there will be loads of Kiwi treats on sale including Pineapple Lumps, Twisties, peanut slabs and even Fijoa lollies.
