From Down Under to the east of England, a troupe of Australia’s finest comics will swarm to the beautiful Henham estate in Suffolk for the Latitude Festival in July this year.

The Aussie master of suburban, absurdist comedy, Sam Simmons will take over the Cabaret Arena with his trademark ridiculousness, leaving audiences laughing for reasons they didn’t think possible. Sam has had sold out shows throughout Australia, LA, New York, Montreal, and Edinburgh and at Soho Theatre in London.

Having appeared in several prominent Australian comedy shows, Felicity Ward is renowned among her peers as a ‘force of nature’ not to reckoned with. A fast thinker and slow mover, Hannah Gadsby has also been added to the roster – her droll delivery, delightful wordplay and heartbreakingly funny, self-deprecating observations have delighted audiences all over the world.

Joining them in the Comedy Arena will be the critically-acclaimed Celia Pacquoto who, since entering the scene in 2006, has gone on to gain international recognition, performing at comedy festivals around the world while collecting esteemed awards and coveted nominations.

Sarah Bennetto has also been added to this league of unapologetically funny women and will present her hugely successful storytelling show for adults with a special presentation of comic raconteurs from the world of stand-up and theatre.

Tickets are still on sale, so get them before they sell out. Click here for more information.

Latitude runs from July 17 – 20. Adult tickets are £187.50.
