Ben Stiller’s local do-gooder enjoys helping out his local community, starting a running group, teaching a Spanish group of OAPs how to ask for their oxygen masks, and, of course, initiating the titular neighbourhood watch. Only things don’t go to plan.
Hiis band of local street-walking watchers are a bunch of dubiously moralled individuals: Vince Vaughn’s motor-mouthed scotch fan Evan, Jonah Hill’s police force drop out Franklin and Richard Aoyade’s stunted socially-awkward fantasist Jamarcus. It falls to this motley group, though, to defend the neighbourhood when it comes under attack from other worldy invaders.
