The porn website has launched a monetary contributions campaign and is hoping to raise £3.4 million to make the ambitious dream a reality.
The website says it is joining the ranks of the first man on the moon Neil Armstrong and the first man in space Yuri Gagarin. “As such Pornhub is teaming up with top ranking adult studio Digital Playground in joining the ranks of Armstrong and Gagarin by pioneering a one of a kind mission to defy gravity, make history, and push the boundaries of intergalactic Sexploration” by filming the first ever sex tape in space.”
As far as we know nobody has previously had sex in space.
Two well-known porn actors Eva Lovia and Johnny Sims are said to be staring in the movie and will receive six months rigorous training prior to the space launch.
The indiegogo contributions site is offering members of the public the opportunity to get involved with a tier reward system, $1 gets you a certificate of endorsement and $150,000 gets you one of the spacesuits worn by either Lovia or Sims, their underwear and a swag bag.
Their estimated budget might seem high, but with 18.3 billion visitors to Pornhub last year and a year to go until scheduled filming they’ve got a realistic chance of hitting target.
At time of going to press the balance raised on indiegogo was $5,362.
