Do you think you’re better than other people? And if not, why not?
No, I don’t think so. I probably thought I was better than everyone up until university. It went from “holy crap I’m surrounded by idiots” in high school to “holy crap I am now an idiot surrounding that person who is a genius” in university.
Weirdest gig you’ve done?
An office Christmas party on the showroom floor of a home appliance shop in Melbourne in front of a much older crowd, without a mic or a stage and the buffet line behind me. The gig didn’t go so bad. I think everyone felt sorry for me!
Funniest thing you’ve seen?
You’ll think I’m a weirdo, but a stupid pipe in the bathroom of a venue. It’s painted white like the wall, so you can’t see it, and hangs low within scalping height and nobody thought it was a bad idea!
