What’s the show going to be about?
A mix of true story telling and fun jokes about drinking…
What was your strangest gig?
In Iraq for the troops at a base in the north. We asked the commanding officer to turn up the show lights because the crowd couldn’t see our face. He said, “It’s fine but last time they did that it attracted mortars.” That’s fine, leave them low.Who inspired you to pick up a mic? Eddie Murphy. I watched Delirious 300 times as a teenager.
What’s the funniest thing you have ever seen?
When I was young we had to tranquilise our cat Peppy when we travelled on aeroplanes to visit family. There’s nothing quite as entertaining as a high cat.
What’s your favourite joke?
[American stand-up] Bill Burr’s joke about gold diggers. “I don’t know how you can sleep with a pensioner…. I would have to put their will on the headboard so you could see the things you’ll get when they kick the bucket.”
