The buzz so far Punk and grunge is alive and well in 2013 courtesy of east London noisemongers Throwing Up (aka Camille and Clare).

As the name suggests, they’re not about niceties and sweet soothing lullabies for their loved ones. Nope, it’s all about feedback-drenched harmony-laden three-minute bursts of cacophonous sound and energy, such as on their latest single Medicine and debut LP, Over You, which we like a lot.

The Critics say “Quickfire spew of brash guitar, indecent drums and vocals designed for mosh pit debauchery”

The plug Over You is out July 8 through O Genesis.
