This Bank Holiday weekend sees the start of English cricket's Yorkshire Bank 40 competition, as the road to the Lord's final in September commences.
The competition begins on Friday evening as reigning champions Hampshire CCC open the 2013 edition at The Essex County Ground, Chelmsford against Essex CCC in a match televised live on Sky Sports. Both London-based counties also begin their campaigns this weekend, with Middlesex hosting Glamorgan at Lords and Surrey facing Hampshire at The Oval
