Ramsay Street, the set of long-running Australian soap Neighbours, is to be transformed into a hotel for fans.

The series, which first aired in 1985, has listed its Ramsay Street cul-de-sac residence on Airbnb and is offering fans the chance to win an overnight stay.

Neighbours follows the lives of fictional characters in the Melbourne suburb of Erinsborough. It is the longest running Australian soap opera and launched the careers of Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Delta Goodrem, Stefan Dennis, Natalie Imbruglia, Guy Pearce and Margot Robbie.

The two winners will receive return travel, a five day trip to Melbourne, have dinner with Alan Fletcher, who plays Dr Karl Kennedy, and Chris Milligan, who plays handyman Kyle Canning, and tour the famous set before staying overnight on 7 September.

Fans must explain, in 25 words or less, why they would like to spend a night on set and submit their entry on before 28th August.

And yes if you’re entering from the UK flights are included.
