Five-time Olympic champion, Sir Bradley Wiggins, will be swapping track racing for reporting at the Lee Valley Velopark next week, as he is set to co-present an evening of the renowned Phynova Six Day London event.

Wiggins will be taking to the mic alongside former British professional cyclist, Matt Stephens for one night only on Friday 26th October to deliver his unique brand of punditry. And he’s no stranger to the velodrome in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, having won Madison World Championship gold there alongside Cavendish back in March 2016, with the pair returning to race at Six Day London that same year.

Sir Bradley then brought the curtain down on his illustrious career in November 2016 alongside Cavendish - once again - at Ghent Six Day – an event close to his heart after he watched his father race there in the early 1980s. He described the Six Day circuit as offering him the “perfect lap of honour”, as he hung up the cleats of his professional career with British Cycling.

From the 23rd to the 28th October, track cycling’s ultimate spectacle takes hold of the London sporting scene. Returning for its fourth year, Phynova Six Day London is a truly unique and exhilarating cycling festival combining world class track racing with music, food and drinks to create a true party atmosphere.
