New Zealanders breathe a sigh of relief after an unexpected loss to Japan. The possibility of gold is still in their grasp after defeating Kenya.

After a 14 -12 loss to Japan, the New Zealand team defeated Kenya 28-5 in their second pool match.

The win keeps New Zealand dreams alive in Pool C, and in with a chance to still top the pool ahead of Great Britain, who they play Thursday morning (NZ time).
