Two men have been arrested at Auckland International Airport when police found $11 million worth of cocaine inside a sculpture of a horse’s head.

The diamante encrusted horse sculpture had been shipped to New Zealand from Mexico and was discovered to contain 35 bricks of cocaine.

Two men were arrested as they tried to leave New Zealand. At this time, they have not been identified.

Police are looking to identify another two men reportedly involved in the case.

The 35 bricks seized make this the biggest cocaine bust in New Zealand’s history.
