Greg Norman is expected to make a full recovery after he injured his arm in a chainsaw accident at the weekend.

Australia's former world number tweeted pictures of himself in hospital and returning to the scene of the accident today.

The accident took place while Norman was trimming trees near his home on Saturday.

He had surgery on his left arm to repair some minor nerve damage and is expected to make a full recovery.

"The doctors expect him to have a full, speedy recovery and to be playing golf and attacking life shortly," said a statement on Norman's website.
