A third of Brits would rather give up sex than their smartphones, said a study.

Seventy per cent of people would give up booze for a week to keep their phone, 63 per cent would stop eating chocolate and 33 per cent would give up sex.

We’re assuming the 33 per cent who’d give up sex for their smartphone don’t overlap with the staggering quarter of Brits who recently admitted that they have homemade porn on their phones.

But perhaps even more shocking, the figures revealed yesterday by Vodafone boss Vittorio Colao said 22 per cent would give up their toothbrush for their smartphone.

Colao shared the figures as part of a PR stunt to launch a partnership with Visa that doubles as a pre-paid card.
