Former Queen guitarist Brian May is campaigning against this summer’s badger cull and is about to release a new song titled Badger Swagger which features the likes of Slash and David Attenborugh.

The group who go by the name of Artful Badger and Friends are surely one of the most weird supergroup line ups ever to have been amassed.

“We love our badgers and they matter to our nannas,” say the song’s opening lyrics, before former Guns N Roses man delivers a solo that he says sounds like “a badger riot” over a sample of a speech Attenborough gave about the government plans he describes as ‘not a viable policy option.

Check out the video to the track and see for yourself.

Brian May has been a vocal campaigner against the government’s badger cull, appearing last Saturday at the protest which took place outside Westminster and releasing a number of other pro-badger songs.
