Utter legend – Commander Chris Hadfield covers David Bowie’s Space Oddity on his acoustic guitar on the final day of his stay on the International Space Station.

“With deference to the genius of David Bowie, here’s Space Oddity, recorded on Station,” Canadian Hadfield said on Twitter of his decision to record on Sunday night a version of the rock musician’s classic tune.

Hatfield is shown in various places around the station as he strums an acoustic guitar and leaves it spinning in the lack of gravity. At one point he is shot in front of a large glass window out of which you can see the earth behind  him.
