A hilarious parody video of Aussie hurdler Michelle Jenneke is all set to become viral when people see that she’s STILL dancing in her pants.
Jenneke jumped to fame in July, when a video of her pre-race warm up dance went viral. It’s basically a video of 19-year-old Jenneke wiggling from side to side and smiling. Due to the young hurdler’s ridiculous good lucks and bounciness, the video went viral, getting over 19 million views on Youtube in the last five months.
US-based entertainment website The Chive, has catapulted Jenneke back into the public eye, by making a parody video of her warm up dance.
The video, entitled Forever Alone see Michelle Jenneke appear in a dream sequence, where the protagonist Mac Faulkner (who is hopelessly single), is watching the original Jenneke video from the Barcelona Junior Athletic World Championships last July, and starts to daydream about what life would be like if the hurdler was his girlfriend.
Turns out life would be pretty sweet. The pair play video games, watch films and eat pancakes together, all while Jenneke wears her trademark hotpants and crop top and wiggles.
Jenneke, from New South Wales, won the silver medal for the 100 metre hurdles at the Summer Youth Olympics in 2010, and on the day the original video was taken in 2012, she came in fifth place in the 100 metre hurdles at the 2012 World Junior Championships.
Speaking about the original video Jenneke said: "I thought it's gonna die down, no one will know me by tomorrow. I guess, it just got biggest instead."
Clearly young athlete doesn't take herself too seriously, as it's clear from this parody video that she's up for a laugh.
