Rapper Chris Kelly of the Nineties rap dup Kriss Kross has died at the age of 34.

Kelly was found dead at his home and was taken to hospital in Atlanta where he was later pronounced dead.

The cause of death is yet to be confirmed and autopsy to be carried out. But Cpl. Kay Lester of the Fulton County police said "it appears it may have been a possible drug overdose."

Kelly was half of the Nineties rap duo Kriss Kross with Chris Smith - known as Mac Daddy and Daddy Mac.

They had a chart hit in 1992 with the single Jump off their debut album Totally Krossed Out, and were known for their unique style, which involved wearing their clothes backwards.
