Specialist tour operator, TruTravels, has added the new 12-day ‘Monkey Ladder’ tour to its range of incredible tours in Asia, in partnership with Cambodian hostel chain Mad Monkeys. From just £595 this new tour is ideal for fun and young travellers wishing to sample the real essence of Cambodia by experiencing the destination through the eyes of a local.
Starting in Phnom Penh and finishing in Siem Reap, travellers will spend twelve days exploring the beautiful country of Cambodia, stopping to experience everything including the parties and beaches of Sihanoukville, the secluded island of Koh Rong Samloem, the little town of Kampot, the markets and food of Phnom Penh and finally the majestic Angkor Wat temple in Siem Reap. Not only will they experience the destinations like locals with the support and help of TruTravels, they will do so whilst staying at some of Mad Monkeys’ most amazing hostels throughout their journey.
All accommodation, transport and activities are included in the price of the tour, including beach fire shows, cultural and historical tours, water sports, river cruises and parties. Whilst TruTravels prefers to keep food and meal choices spontaneous, selected meals and beach BBQs are also included, making this tour even better value for money for those looking to have a real introduction to Cambodia.
As with all tours, travellers also have access to the operator’s full range of support options, including a dedicated SOS line before, during and after their tour for both them and their families, and the ‘Meet Others Tour Radar App’ to link up with their fellow travelling companions before they leave. All of TruTravels’ tours are accompanied by Western group leaders, as well as local tour guides, giving the perfect balance between local culture and familiar support.
Co-founder Mark Pope said “TruTravellers get the best of both worlds, with all of the freedom you’d expect whilst backpacking solo combined with the security that comes with having your first steps in an unfamiliar country taken care of. We’re excited to expand in Cambodia, and by partnering with Mad Monkeys, who have six hostels in key backpacker hotspots around the country, we’re able to offer even greater value for money on both of our Cambodia tours and offer an all-round better experience for our customers.”
