But, the question here is that how you can make the most of your one day in Dubai?

What could be the perfect one-day itinerary for Dubai? You needn’t think much of it as in this post you will get a complete, consummate and perfect answer to these questions.

Please note that Dubai Airport is overwhelmingly busy and it is a high possibility that you could lose enough good time of your day in Dubai in an immigration queue itself. So, try to make it quick or else utilize UAE Smart Gates which automatically check your passport and there is no need for queuing, but you require checking whether your passport applies for and is eligible to be scanned through smart gates. In short, get out of the airport, after completing all the necessary formalities, as soon as possible.

Pay a Visit to Dubai Mall & Burj Khalifa

When in Dubai, for a limited time, you have to make the most of that. Don’t miss a visit to the Dubai Mall and the majestic Burj Khalifa, which stands tall among other skyscrapers and rules the skyline of Dubai.

For both places, you can either take a taxi or metro from the airport itself. Public transport in Dubai is not at all expensive. However, the metro might seem to be a good option during rush hours so as to avoid traffic and reach your destination quickly. However, the thing that you require keeping in mind while utilizing Dubai Metro is that the stations are, actually, really far from the destinations and you require putting in a lot of brisk walk in between the station and your destination.

Burj Khalifa is very impressive. Don’t miss having a view of the glorious city from the top of the Burj Khalifa. However, you need to know that tickets for availing the experience of being at the top of Burj Khalifa are often sold out as there is always a heavy influx of tourists in Dubai. Hence, if you know, well in advance, that you are going to be for a one day at Dubai; it is better that you get your tickets booked beforehand itself.

 Dubai Aquarium

Dubai Aquarium is located in the Dubai Mall itself. It is quite big and you need at least an hour to have a complete look at it. The experience of walking in an underwater tunnel, right along with sharks, stingrays, and other aquatic animals, is quite impressive though.

 Dubai Fountains

These are one of the world’ largest fountains that are choreographed. The show happens after every 30 minutes from 6 pm to 11 pm. Believe us; they are, definitely, gorgeous and worthwhile to have a look. Moreover, they are located right outside the Dubai Mall and are presented in the Burj Lake, exactly in front of the Burj Khalifa.

Don’t Miss Visiting the Traditional Souks

Coming to Dubai and not visiting the traditional souks is a total no-no. When you will step into the narrow passageways of the souks you can, easily, get an experience of the rich cultural heritage and the glorious past of Dubai. You can buy anything ranging from clothes, spices and even gold at these souks. Yes! The city which is known for its love for Gold; the Gold Souk will, definitely,  be worthwhile to pay a visit.

Please note that you can bargain at these souks to get a better price for the things that you are buying. Bargaining is the right of the consumer especially if you are paying your bills in cash. For reaching these souks you can utilize Metro and the nearest metro station is Al Ras, which is at a distance of about 400 meters. So, yes you require putting in some amount of brisk walking to gain the most out of the limited time that you have on hand to spend in the wonderful and glorious city.

Dhow Dinner Cruise in Dubai

There is no perfect way to enjoy the majestic view of Dubai’s skyline and the marine environment along with a delicious dinner other than going aboard a dhow dinner cruise in Dubai. A dhow is a traditional Arabian wooden both which was used in the past for fishing. However, now these boats are converted, by some entrepreneurs, into beautiful floating restaurants.

You can go on a dhow cruise from Dubai Marina or from Dubai Creek. The only difference between Dhow Cruise Marina and Dhow Cruise Dubai Creek is of the location. Dubai Creek is an old part of the city and a dhow cruise from Dubai Creek will give you a good amount of glimpse into the ancient heritage of Dubai. While the dhow cruise from Dubai Marina will help you get a good view of the modern part of the city.

Along with a great dinner, you will also get to enjoy the traditional Turkish dance and music overboard. Please note that you need significant hours for this experience and it is better that you make your bookings in advance because in Dubai the concept of barging straightaway into a hotel, restaurant or a sightseeing spot with a hope of getting tickets straight away, doesn’t hold.

So, you, definitely, can’t see the entire Dubai in one day. But, you, indeed, can pay a visit to the top spots, as mentioned in this post. It really doesn’t matter how much time you have in your hand because every moment spent in the majestic city of Dubai is worth cherishing for a lifetime and you will be carrying some great memories with you.
