Travel Guide: Dublin Food & Drink

12th Oct 2011 2:34am | By Editor

Dublin's food and drink is as cosmopolitan as its residents.

You don’t have to settle for stodgy potato-laden pub grub in Dublin. Take your pick from Italian, seafood and ethnic restaurants, many of the best located on the south side of the city.

If you’re seeking afternoon tea, bag a seat at Queen of Tarts on Lord Edward Street. Their Bailey’s cheesecake is sinfully delicious.

No party town would be complete without a plethora of pubs and Dublin certainly has that.  The Stag’s Head off Dame Street is a quaint boozer and if you want some live music try Sean O’Casey’s in Marlborough Street.

If a Cosmo is more your thing rather than a pint of Guinness, there is a large number of cocktail bars, most near Temple Bar.
