British Airways has cancelled all flights to and from Turkey and the Foreign Office is advising people to avoid public places.

Tourists in Istanbul, Ankara and Marmaris are being directed to stay indoors following another night of aggression.

British Airways is offering customers refunds and the option of rebooking their trip for a future date.

Passengers due to travel to Turkey are being advised to check the status of their flight with their airline before heading to the airport.
