What’s the show about?

It’s about building a community spirit in order to engage in war, specifically about a petty conflict between two villages over the re-naming of a train station, which is very loosely based on a true story we found out about in a village newsletter.

What was your first time on stage like? In a school play at the age of 12, I played Prince Charming in the style of Adam Ant. I led the audience in a rendition of the hit song of the same name.

My recollection is that it was truly excellent, though there is no proof either way.

I wore makeup to school the next day and was sent to the headmaster’s office by the PE teacher, where I made an impassioned and fruitless plea for boys to be allowed the same rights to self expression through the appliance of cosmetics as girls. Smash the state, etc…

What’s the funniest thing you’ve seen this week?

A zebra trying to drown a lion.
